Not only have I customized the list to automatically correct my most common typing mistakes, but also use it to shorten the time I spend typing out repetitive phrases. As only one example, typing "usdcc" autocorrects to "United States District Court". I use it for client's names, for Federal ("frcpp") and Texas ("trcpp") Rules of Civil Procedure (I work in Dallas), the names of various Acts we refer to a lot, and so on. So long as the "shortcut" you type in is not a real word or abbreviation, this power tool can save you hours of typing in a year's time.
